The Panamaxes continued their fall, a more …modest one today at minus 61 points and the BPI now reads 976 – below the 1,000 threshold. CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION!
The Supras’ too lost 12 points and the BSI stands at 941…

Mixed and strange finale for the Wets with the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) at 901, -1 minus one and 552 – plus 30 points respectively…

The elections in the USA and the outcome there leaving Donald Trump alone to play his game undisturbed – given the political system’s structure (the looser in out, never in opposition); BREXIT with its unique “complications” and the Middle East alone with China pushing too, will create a unique and despicable global mess!
Now you know why we are condemning the Diplomats and all the Peace groups and NGO’s, save a couple or so! The Diplomats, with all due respect, they are not worth a penny, they are overwhelmingly overrun by the business hooligans and the warmongers, the “religious” faithful et al… Facts speak of and for themselves alone!
All the issues, all the main issues of “current affairs” remain the same and turning sour:
MIGRANTS, Syria, Iraq, the ISIS’ “madness” – “wonder” who is really “behind” ISIS – what a set-up, the system thinks we are all sleeping!

China re-asserting itself in a very dangerous way…

Putin’s Russia continuing the “relay” from the Tsarists and Communists to the Oligarchs…
Wonder also all these epaulets for many in the Diplomatic corps and many accolades in the Universities for Awards and Prizes for Peace where they lead us to and where we are heading with these morons… It reminds me all these glitterati PhD students from A1 shipping Universities that saw and continue to see their companies (from those still left over) collapse. Where was their expertise and shipping business acumen to save the companies they worked for? What really happened – who called a fast one on them? Was it the curriculum? What was it then? Eh! Basta, trillions have been lost in shipping and many listed companies’ shares have been wiped off! Any objection? And what did the gurus did/do to halt their greedy clients who went on a trip with … Lucy in the Skies with Diamonds… Now don’t look the rise in the American stock markets with the Dow Jones Industrial Average ready to go over and above the 20,000, think “inside” the box… You are in the box stupid as, thinking out of the Box brought you and all of us in this mess!

On another tone, the one that leaves a bit of hope – we never abandon hope, down in Athens the international shipping community witnessed a very special event, a very down to earth business one, a celebration of our unique Human Resources in ethical shipping business. Grande Bretagne, the landmark hotel in Athens’ Constitution Square, was full of well-wishers for the Farewell Party of Lambros Chahalis – BV’s RCE/ HBS, and the announcement of his successor. What a touching event that was according to our representative there on the hand over from Chiot Lambros Chahalis to Paillette Paleologou! Congratulations to both and we will revert with a full write up on this unique Bureau Veritas event!
